Besides supplying used can making lines Cazander® (registered as brand name in Europe since 2006) from The Netherlands continues to be the largest player in second-hand coating and decorating lines. Since we started our business in used machinery we have done business with over 340 companies in almost 80 different countries and this number is still growing. You could say that our name is well known in about 1/4 the world within a time frame of just one (1) decade. This is important for our customers because when a can maker wants to sell his surplus equipment the biggest chance to find a potential customer is via Cazander®. Therefore we do more and more sales on behalf of companies on an exclusive selling basis.
We know everything concerning valuations, marketing, finance, dismantling, packaging, transport and upon request commissioning of complete lines. The latter is executed by Cazander® together with our technical support centre Veldkamp Services B.V. from Raalte where our warehouses are located.
Nevertheless it is almost impossible to forecast what current trends are in the market of second hand machinery and where we are going to sell in the future. This makes our kind of business very tricky, especially when you have a lot of equipment in stock as we do.
Like in every other business the ‘Fingerspitzengefühl’ is essential.
Nowadays we more and more focus on collecting data in our web-based database with information of machines available on the market.
